Abstract: The measuring principle and application of the tension meter in the acid continuous rolling mill of the cold rolling silicon steel plant in Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co.， Ltd. were introduced in this paper. The tension meter was not stable in actual production, which caused frequent failures. In order to ensure the stability of the measurement accuracy of the tension meter, targeted improvement measures were proposed for the failure points of the tension meter, which have obvious effects in the use process.
