Abstract: High punching 50BW600 nonoriented silicon steel is a kind of cold rolled nonoriented silicon steel of high strength and high hardness, which is used in the production of Siemens industrial motor, with the demand of high electromagnetic performance and stamping performance. The chemical compostion, hot rolling and cold rolling processes of the high punching 50BW600 nonoriented silicon steel were researched in this paper, and the factors affecting electromagnetic performances of the product were found out by analyzing the product's structure and performance.By optimizing the production process, then, the prodcut's qualities have been successfully improved, which can satisfy the user's requirements on the performance index of the product .
