Abstract: Stainless steel slag is a solid waste in stainless steel company with containing a large amount of chromium, and it is harmful because of the leaching risk of chromium in the environment. In this paper, based on the chemical composition, phase composition and existing state in stainless steel slag, the contamination of stainless steel slag was mainly studied. Furthermore, treatment methods of stainless steel slag for harmless at home and abroad were mainly introduced.
