Abstract: For the recovery of vanadium from V-bearing steelmaking slag, the paper focuses on the effect of binary basicity on the distribution of vanadium and phosphorus in steelmaking slag. The experimental results show that the basicity is greater than 1.8, phosphorus dissolved in dicalcium silicate, and vanadium occurs in dicalcium silicate and RO phases;basicity is between 1.3-1.5, most of phosphorus dissolved in the liquid phase, a small amount in the solid solution of orthosilicate, and vanadium concentrates in the spinel phase; when the basicity is 1, phosphorus exists in liquid phase, most of vanadium enriched in the spinel phase, a part dissolved in liquid phase.
