异型中间包数值模拟优化研究

摘要: 以国内某厂所设计的初始小型异型原始中间包为研究对象,为改善中间包内流场及温度场特性,采用数值模拟的手段对有无冲击杯和挡墙结构下的中间包内流场和温度场进行模拟研究。研究结果表明:原始中间包内流场和温度场不理想,造成各流温度差异较大,并且速度死区体积达到22.05 %;改进后的中间包对中间包内速度分布有明显改善,同时改变了温度分布,速度死区体积最高降低到7.52 %。并用标准方差对中间包各流的温度进行一致性评价。通过冲击杯和特殊挡墙配合,可较好使中间包内速度及温度分布均匀。

Abstract: The current study focuses on the flow and temperature filed for a special-shaped tundish applied in a steelmaking plant.The tundish were investigated with the help of numerical modelling to improve the flow and temperature field in tundish which assembles a turbulence inhibitor and several dams.The research results showed that the flow field in the prototype tundish are not favorable for temperature homogenuous,resulting in a large temperature differences between outflows.With the optimization of tundish,the dead zone volume is reduced to 7.52 % from 22.05 %,which is the dead zone volume from the prototype,demonstrating a significant improvement on the flow field,as well as the temperature distribution.In addition,the uniformity of flows were evaluated by calculating the standard deviation.The optimized tundish showed that an appropriate combination of inhibitor and dams makes homogeneous flow and temperature field in the tundish.
