The manufacturing process of high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel heated by low-temperature slab of 0.35 mm thick was researched. During normalizing, the pH2O/pH2 of atmosphere in the high-temperature section was controlled for a little decarburization. While controlling the normalized structure, conditions were created for improving the decarburization efficiency during continuous annealing. During continuous annealing, the initial grain size and inhibitor strength were well matched by controlling the pressure ratio before decarburization, annealing temperature and nitriding amount. During high-temperature annealing, the atmosphere of high nitrogen proportion was used before secondary recrystallization to slow down the weakening of inhibitor ability, and finally the 0.35 mm thick oriented silicon steel was obtained with excellent magnetic properties of B800≥ 1.91 T and P1.7/ 50 ≤ 1.15 W/kg .

The performance of oriented silicon steel is the main factor determining the loss of transformer. The implementation of the new energy efficiency grade standard puts forward higher requirements for oriented silicon steel. Combined with the development of transformer and oriented silicon steel, the relationship between transformer loss and the properties of oriented silicon steel were analyzed in this paper, and the demand prediction of oriented silicon steel after the implementation of the new energy efficiency grade standard was put forward.

In recent years, the technology of electric propulsion systems for electric aircraft, including pure electric power and hybrid power, has received increasing attention. As the most critical power source for electric aircraft, the performance of propulsion motors has a direct impact on the performance and reliability of electric aircraft. Efficiency is a key indicator for motors. This paper designed a high-efficiency axial flux motor for electric aircraft propulsion system, whose stator material is made of ultra-thin non-oriented electrical steel, and compared the ultra-thin non-oriented electrical steel with conventional electrical steel at different frequencies and temperatures. The simulation results showed that the ultra-thin non-oriented electrical steel can effectively improve the operating efficiency of the motor in the field of high frequency motor.

The effect of oxide layer at different coiling temperatures on pickling of  non-oriented silicon steel with mass fraction of Si between 1.5 % and 2.0 % was studied. The results showed that: a dense oxide layer of 2-4 μm thick was existed on the surface of the hot rolled plate when coiling temperature at 690 ℃, and after pickling the oxide layer was still 1-3 μm thick; but when the coiling temperature at 570 ℃, the existing 2-4 μm thick oxide layer on the surface of the hot rolled plate was almost disappeared after pickling, and the pickling efficiency was greatly improved.

A thorough analysis was made to find out the reason of the spalling in the process of producing silicon steel with single stand mill. The analysis showed that the main reasons for the spalling of the roll were work hardening, contact fatigue, insufficient chamfer design at the side of the roll and insufficient grinding amount. Combined with the actual production, the reasonable use and maintenance methods and preventive measures were put forward.

The structure characteristics and working principle of the dividing combining  valve were introduced, and the reasons for the short service life of the dividingcombining valve in the pressure plate lifting hydraulic circuit of MIEBACH laser welding machine of the APL normal pickling unit were analyzed in detail. The analysis results showed that the rated flow of the original design of the dividingcombining valve could not meet the actual flow on site, and the valve core had a large impact when it worked, and the frequent action impact caused the valve core to be broken and damaged. The problem could not be solved by adjusting other hydraulic valves in the hydraulic circuit,so the dividing combining valve was upgraded according to the actual flow and working pressure, which not only ensured the normal lifting action of the welding press plate, but also completely solved the problem of short service life of the dividingcombining valve.

The application of gas chromatography to transformer detection can fully solve this problem.
