Abstract: New energy high-grade non-oriented silicon steel requires uniform magnetic properties along all directions of the material in order to provide ideal transmission efficiency for rotating motors. The magnetic properties of single sample of new energy high grade nonoriented silicon steel 20NV1300 with the angle of 0°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90° were tested. According to the theoretical model, the contribution of each texture component of 20NV1300 to magnetic induction and anisotropy is calculated and explained. The components of iron loss at Bm=1.0  T were separated and calculated. The results showed that the sample with an angle of 60°to the rolling direction has the highest iron loss and the lowest magnetic induction. The proportion of each component of iron loss at different frequencies is also different.
