Abstract: This article analyzes the trial process of semi-high speed steel rolls in non-oriented silicon steel continuous rolling units, and compares them with traditional Cr₅ material rolls in several dimensions such as roll grinding, lower roll shape, roughness evaluation, and accident resistance.it is believed that semi-high speed steel rolls are significantly better than Cr₅ material rolls in improving the amount of steel passing, roll shape retention, and accident resistance of rolls.it is improved the rolling efficiency of the non-oriented silicon steel continuous rolling units and reducing rolling costs.
