Study on laser welding performance of chromium free environment friendly coating for non-oriented silicon steel#br#

Abstract: The effects of coating thickness, coating type, and welding process on the welding performance of non-oriented silicon steel were investigated through metallographic microscopy and electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD).The results indicated that:under the conditions of this experiment, the coating thickness was directly proportional to the percentage of welding foaming area, and the organic matter in the coating was the main factor affecting welding foaming. During the welding process, the microstructure gradually grows from equiaxed grains to columnar grains, ultimately forming larger and more uniform large grains.
