Development and technological progress of cold-rolled non-oriented  silicon steel insulating coating in TISCO

Abstract

Abstract: The historical development and current situation of insulation coatings for cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel in China and TISCO were briefly described in this paper. The main properties and application fields of different types of coatings and the progress of production technology in the coating development process in recent years in TISCO were introduced, mainly including the independent development of C5 thin environmental protection coatings, the localization of C6 extremely thick coatings, and the development of self-adhesive coating process. At last, the next development direction of insulation coatings were put forward.
