Abstract: The production and applying technology of highgrade nonoriented silicon steel used in generator field has been studied and analyzed, of which the results were used to improve the electromagnetic property of highgrade nonoriented silicon steel product 50AW310 made in Ansteel according to the requirements of generator design and manufacturing process. The updated product 50AW310DF has better magnetic properties, magnetization characteristics and overall qualities, which means that Ansteel has a higher technological level to produce highgrade nonoriented silicon steel, and meanwhile the developing path and direction of high-grade non-oriented silicon steel is figured out in this company.
